Obituary for Warren Wilson - Kingsville Celebration Centre

Passed away peacefully at his home, Saturday, March 11, 2023 at the age of 76 years. Beloved husband of Bonnie Wilson (nee DeSantis) for 49 wonderful years. Loving and devoted father to Philip Wilson and Michelle Ferrari. Dear brother of Geraldine Wilson (Tony Virgilio) and brothers-in-law Fred DeSantis (Gail), David DeSantis (Lucy), and sisters-in-law Patti Drummond, and Mary Wilson.

Special uncle of Brian Wilson (Kim), Jan Wilson (Coco), Sean Drummond (Erin), Adrian DeSantis (Nicole), AJ DeSantis (Megan), Justin Drummond, Josh DeSantis (Haley), Barrington Wilson (Katie), Malama Wilson and Maria Nicoletti-DeSantis; great uncle to Kenzie, Hunter, Theron, Aspyn and Hudson.

Warren will be missed by his special God children Sean Drummond, Alana Black, and Alysia Morin

Predeceased by his parents Clarence Wilson (1977) and Edna (nee Forster) Wilson (1971), his father-in-law Fred DeSantis (1988), his kindest loving mother-in-law Minnie DeSantis (2019), his big brother Barry Wilson (2009), and brother-in-law Greg Drummond (2011).

Warren was born on March 5, 1947, in Stoney Creek, ON. He was a trust officer from 1971 until the time he moved to Kingsville in 1976 when he and his wife Bonnie purchased Sanford Insurance and ran the business together until 2003 when it was sold to Will Insurance. He retired in 2012.

Warren was an active member of the community of Kingsville, a town he loved. He was a life member of the Kinsmen Club and a member of St. George's Masonic Lodge, No. 41. He had many close friends and always loved a good conversation. Warren enjoyed spending his time walking with his companion, Chester, a Black Standard Poodle, who will miss Warren deeply.

Visitation will take place at Kendrick Funeral Home (91 Division St. S., Kingsville) on Thursday, March 16, 2023, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. with a Masonic service to start at 6 p.m. A celebration of life will be held at Epworth United Church on Friday, March 17, 2023 at 11 a.m. with burial to follow at Greenhill Cemetery.
