Susanna Child (nee Alzner);
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear mother and grandmother, Susanna, on January 22, 2023, at Erie Shores Healthcare at the age of 77 years. She was born in Austria on July 28, 1945, to the late Michael and Susanna Alzner. Loving mother of Kevin Child and the late Paul Child. Adored grandma of Sommer and Savanna. Susanna will be remembered by her daughter-in-law, Sharlene Child and her sister-in-law, Trudy Alzner; several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael and Johann.
Susanna had spent many years working as a bookkeeper until her retirement. In years past, she loved playing cards with her card club in Kingsville. Above all else, she loved spending her free time with her family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Kendrick Funeral Home Ltd., Kingsville on Friday, January 27, 2023, from 12:30 until a celebration of life will begin at 2 p.m. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
