I am so sorry to hear about Susan’s passing. It has been a great honour to get to know her. I loved to hear stories about her children and grandchildren, and all the children she taught, and mentored. I will remember her big smile and the laughter, we shared over the past few months. My deepest sympathies to your family.

Mrs. Gaffan was my supervisor for one of my college placements. Her legacy was laughter, smiles and a genuine love of children. She made everyone feel special- young and old. She made a difference in the lives of many and will be missed.

To Sue's Family: Very sorry for your loss. I remember well, Sue, bringing Carolyn Rice to St. Alban's Anglican Church, Malden until it closed in Oct. 2011 and then St. Andrew's, Harrow. We were delighted to assist, Chelsea, from the St. Alban's Advised Trust in 2015. Sue was a very kind & generous person and a delight to know. Most Sincerely, Susan Hutchins, Harrow
