Obituary for Rosemary Klus-Kingsville Celebration Centre

It is with a heavy hearts we announce the passing of Rosemary Klus on February 17th, 2023; surrounded by love in the arms of her son. Predeceased and waiting for her with open arms are first and foremost her husband Nick, married 59 years, daughter Dee Dee, her parents Rose Gibson (nee Alice) and Carl Ford, her step father Tom Gibson, her sister Carole Ford who was her life-long sparing mate and best friend, her brother Tim Gibson who I’m sure will be serenading her into Heaven with his bongos, as well as her grandparents, aunts and uncles who will all be rejoicing as a great family reunion will unfold.

Survived with hearts broken are her son Chris; brothers Joe Gibson (Sue), Byron Ford; and nephews Ian, Jason and Patrick.

A special thank you to her extended family who helped in so many ways whom she adored: Al, Jacey Grace, Andre Affleck and Ken & Alberta Hedge. Greater neighbours do not exist.

I also must acknowledge her second family at Shoreview at Riverside. She loved with all her heart both staff and residents. Special mention to Les, Virginia, her special friend Woody, and last, but not least Nadia, whom she thought of as a daughter and adored with all her heart.

There is no greater sorrow than to lose someone you love. My personal condolences to all who loved her and were not mentioned.

Family and friends will gather at Kendrick Funeral Home (91 Division St. S., Kingsville) Thursday, February 23, 2023, from 12 noon until the Celebration of Life at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Greenhill Cemetery.

If desired, donations would be appreciated to the Windsor-Essex County Humane Society, 1375 Provincial Rd, Windsor, ON N8W 5V8.
