October 27, 1947 – April 25, 2020
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our husband, father and papa.
Devoted husband of 50 years to Audrey Jean (Rollo)
Loving father to Angie (Thomas) Neufeld and Michelle (Scott) Bering.
Proud papa to Daniel, Erica, Lauren, Nathan, Trista and Ryan.
Predeceased by parents Warren and Mina Peterson (Terryberry).
Brother to Linda (Wayne) Bennett and Judi (Earle) Goodwin.
Bob will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Bob retired as plant manager of Syngenta Seeds after 32 years. His true passion was serving his community. Over his 22 year political career he held the elected positions of counsellor, deputy mayor and was honoured to be the last mayor of Gosfield South. Bob was an avid card player and was an active member of the Kingsville Friendly Club. He enjoyed spending time with his friends at the Bocce and shuffleboard courts both here and in Florida. Bob loved hunting and fishing with his buddies and served many years on the Ducks Unlimited committee.
He was a lifetime member of the Kingsville Baptist Church and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion branch 188.
A private ceremony has taken place. A celebration of life will occur at a later date.
