Obituary for Murray Ross - Kingsville Celebration Centre
It is with broken hearts but rejoicing spirits we announce the passing of Murray on Monday, June 19, 2023, at Erie Shores Healthcare at the age of 80 years. Beloved husband of Catherine Ross (nee Ferguson) for 51 years. Loving father of Joanne Shuttleworth (Tim) and Lennith Trojand (Todd) and late Murray Frank, his infant son. Proud Papa of Wesley (Sarah), Alec (Elizabeth) and Emmett Shuttleworth; and great Papa of Callum, Stella, Ruby, Claire, and Gloria. Predeceased by his brother, Charles Ross; remembered by his sister-in-law, Carol Ross; stepbrother, Gary Olan (late Jean) and his many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Murray was a member of the U.S. Marine Corps and retired from Chrysler Canada after 30 years of employment. Of all the things in his life, his 3 grandsons were his pride and joy. He was an avid reader and had a wonderful sense of humor and always looked for the good in things. Murray’s faith in the Lord was above all - serving as a deacon and elder for many years.
Family and friends will gather at Kendrick Funeral Home, Kingsville, on Thursday, June 22, 2023, from 5 to 8 p.m. and then again on Friday, June 23, 2023 starting at 12 noon until the funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Olinda-Graceland Cemetery.
