Obituary for Minnie Rose DeSantis (Turner)

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family March 21, 2019 at the age of 92 years. Reunited with her beloved husband Fred (1988). Loving and devoted mom to Bonnie and Warren Wilson, Fred and Gail (nee Armstrong) DeSantis, Patti and the late Gregory Drummond, and David and Lucy (Nicoletti) DeSantis. Loving Grandma to Sean (Erin), Adrian (Nicole), Philip (Michelle), Adam (Megan), Justin, Josh (Haley), Maria, Jason and Alex. Proud Great Grandma to Kenzie, Hunter, Theron and Aspyn. Dearest sister-in-law to Michael DeSantis of Surrey, BC and Carole Carisse of Ottawa. Predeceased by Mother and Father Effie and Bertram Turner, Step Father Joseph Dawson, sister and brother-in-law, Jean & Nick Russo, brother and sister-in-law Bud and Mae Turner, and sisters-in-law Mary, Jean and Doris and Brother-in-law Roy DeSantis. Mom cherished all her family and friends and always had a big smile for everyone. Minnie’s family would like to thank Paramed, Dr. Sheila Horen, Father Rick Janisse, Deacon Dennis, multiple PSW’s, Nurses, Volunteers and Physicians and Erie Shores Hospice for the loving care she was so blessed to receive.
Visitation will take place at Kendrick Funeral Home (91 Division Street South, Kingsville) on Monday March 25, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with parish prayers being said at 7:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. John de Brebeuf Catholic Church, Kingsville on Tuesday March 26, 2019 at 10 a.m. with burial to follow in Greenhill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. John de Brebeuf Church Building Fund or Erie Shores Hospice.
