It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mother and grandmother, Mary Shaften, on July 20, 2021, at Sun Parlour Home Leamington at the age of 91 years. Beloved wife of the late Frank Shaften (1999). Loving mother of Paul (Judy), Kevin (Georgene), Chris (Jennifer), late Mick (2020), Dave and Peter (Melissa). Adored grandma of 11 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Dear aunt to several nieces and nephews.
The family, with profound gratitude, would like to extend a thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Sun Parlour Home, Leamington, for their care and compassion shown to Mary while in their care.
Visitation will take place at Kendrick Funeral Home, Kingsville on Friday, July 23, 2021, from 1 to 4 p.m. A private family celebration of Mary's life will take place following the visitation. A private family burial will be held at a later date in Greenhill Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her husband Frank.
