Louis Rivest peacefully left this earth on November 1, 2020 surrounded by his loving family at the age of 85. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marie Annette Rivest (nee Noel) in 2019, after 60 years of marriage. The adored father of Colette (Gilles) Thibert, Marc (Cathy) Rivest and Lisa (Robert) Maisonville. Cherished pépé of Robert, Ryan (Rae-Anne), Christine (James), Chantelle (John), Brad (Lacey), Jocelyne (Matt), Keith (Jenna) and Kelly (Brennan) and grand-pépé of Harper, Jack, Liam, Savannah, Addison, Quinn and Harrison. He leaves behind his siblings Elise, Eleonore and Claud; and extended family including Annette’s family, many nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by his siblings Agnes, Larry, Hedy, Leon, Suzanne, Paul, Norbert, Rosalie, Wilfred and Gerald.
A mass of Christian burial will take place Wednesday November 4, 2020 at 11 a.m. from St. John de Brebeuf Catholic Church, Kingsville. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to Erie Shores Hospice.
