Obituary for Lawrence Pastorius-Kingsville Celebration Centre

Pastorius, Lawrence Walter
It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father.
His faith and persistence kept him enjoying a life he treasured. Dad loved his golf; was a long-time member (62 years) of Beach Grove Golf and Country Club and subsequently, Kingsville Golf and Country Club.
He had a lifelong love of birds, was an avid fisherman and loved his trusted little companion, his dog, Duffy.
Dad was a proud Canadian who served our Country as a Captain in the Armed Forces during World War II.
He was a long-time partner with Price Waterhouse Coopers and served on several boards throughout his successful career.
Dad is now at peace resting with our mother, Helen Louise (nee Bailey).
He leaves behind 2 daughters, Nancy (Calgary, AB) and Mary (Embro, ON), as well as 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; Melanie (Ryan, Owen and Ainsleigh), Emily, Mitchell (Alicia Cappadocio), Christopher (Matthew) and Jason.
He is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.
He was predeceased by his parents, Walter E. and Pearl (nee Smith) Pastorius and a brother Ernest E. Pastorius.
We would like to give heartfelt thanks to Don and Jay for their unwavering support, kindness and friendship through the years. It meant the world to Dad.
We would also like to thank Dad's home care team, Amy's Helping Hands who did everything possible to keep our Dad comfortable and content. We appreciate all of you!
