Obituary for Lina Melinz - Kingsville Celebration Centre

Karolina “Lina” Melinz (nee Wiessmann) passed away on July 12, 2022 at the Royal Oak Retirement
home in Kingsville at the age of 99. Lina had a full life filled with love, family, friendships and good
cooking. Predeceased by her husband Karl Melinz (1994), she is survived by her children, John Melinz
(Sylvia) Kincardine; Karl Melinz (Mary Ann) Kingsville; Barbara Nielsen (Paul) Kingsville and Annie Pump
(Edwin) Leamington. Lina is survived by her sister Katharina Beyer in Germany. Predeceased by infant
sons Donald Martin (1957); Michael Mark (1965) and great grand son Bradley Mantha (2022).

Lina enjoyed an open house filled with cookies loved by her grandchildren. Ursula Melinz (Rob Dupuis )

How very blessed Lina was to have enjoyed her great grandchildren; Devin, Bradley and Cameron
Mantha, Kiefer and Nora Melinz Dupuis, Henry Heaton; Gavin and Caden Pump, Peyton Melinz, R.J.
Coates (Kaitlyn); Reiya and Rhyn Damore, Jacob and Daniel Laman; and her great- great grandson Nixon Coates.
Lina remembered her other family members, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, extended families and friends throughout the world. She kept track of their birthdays and corresponded with them frequently. Thank you to the staff of Royal Oak for their hard work and compassion.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 15, 2022 from 3-5 and 7-9 pm from the Kendrick Funeral Home, 91 Division St. S. Kingsville, ON. The Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 11 am. from St. John de Brebeuf Catholic Church, 67 Main St. E. Kingsville, ON. Interment will be held in Greenhill Cemetery.
