It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Joseph E. ‘Bud’ Leonard on August 7, 2020. Survived by his wife of 39 years Honi Huyck. Son of the late Joseph and Helen (nee Lowry) Leonard.
Also survived by his sister Barbara Jean Patterson; Bud's treasured nieces, Sequoia and Banyan (Huyck Lehman) and nephews, Andrew, and Eric Patterson.
Bud loved all things basketball/sports. He was known as "coach" and a mentor to many young men and women in Windsor-Essex County and Ontario.
Bud's second delight was singing. As a member of the Sun Parlour Barbershop Group in Windsor, he spent many hours practicing and singing in Windsor, across Ontario and the U.S.
Following Bud’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Kendrick Funeral Home, Kingsville.
