Obituary for Bob Charette - Kingsville Celebration Centre
Passed away peacefully December 27, 2020 at the Sun Parlor Home at 74 years. Loving husband of Catherine Charette (nee Jenkins) for 22 years. Adored father of Sue (Derek) Kozar and Chris (Sue) Charette. Cherished papa and grandpa of Rees, Sam, Ben and Kait. Preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Patricia Charette. Brother of Tom (Anita), Mary (Jim), Theresa (Frank), Mike (late Carmela), John and Gerard (MaryAnne). Bob is also remembered by his mother and father in law, Marion and Cecil Jenkins; sisters in law, Linda (Randal) Denley and Cecilia Jenkins. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews and many life-long friends in Canada and the USA.
Bob was a long-time teacher with the WECDSB. A lover of football, baseball, golf and hockey. Bob was very proud of his grandchildren's sports accomplishments and loved going to watch them play. Bob always had a knack for spontaneous and comic "Improvisational Theatre". From a very early age he was quick to find a comical response to any situation.
A private family service for Bob has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Kendrick Funeral Home, Kingsville, Ontario.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations would be appreciated to Sun Parlor Home Auxiliary-Canada Helps, Erie Shores Healthcare or Windsor Regional Hospital-Ouellette Campus.
