85 years, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2019 surrounded by his loving family at Erie Shores Hospice. Predeceased by his loving wife Jane Hoogsteen (nee Postma)(2014). Loving father of Tracy (Paul) Verheyen, Dorothy (Gary) Shepley, Wendy (Ron) MacVicar, Bill (Carrie) Hoogsteen, Rick (Pam) Hoogsteen and Amy (Daryl) Smith. Adored grandpa of 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Also survived by 3 sisters. Predeceased by his parents Willem and Alberdina, his grandson Clayton and 7 brothers and sisters.
Visitation will take place at Kendrick Funeral Home (91 Division Street S., Kingsville) on Sunday April 14, 2019 from 3-7 p.m. A celebration on his life will take place at Kendrick Funeral Home on Monday April 15, 2019 at 11 a.m. A private family burial will take place.
