Passed away peacefully, December 3, 2019 at the age of 75 years, beloved wife of João for 53 years. Loving mother to John (Diane), Anne Marie Da Ponte (Duarte). Much loved Avó to Brandon, Alex, Andrew, and Lucas. Daughter to the late Laura da Rosa and Ezekiel Carreira Rebelo, Sister in law of Maria, predeceased by her brothers José, Alfredo (Maria), António (Maria do Rosário).
Joana immigrated to Kingsville, Ontario in 1974 with her husband, João and children. Kingsville has been their home for 45 years.
Visitation will take place at Kendrick Funeral Home (91 Division St. S., Kingsville) on Sunday December 8, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers at the funeral home at 8:30 pm. A mass of Christian burial will take place on Monday December 9, 2019 at 10 a.m. at St. John de Brebeuf Church, Kingsville.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John de Brebeuf Church, Kingsville or Neurosurgery at Trillium Mississauga Hospital.
