Obituary for Joan Carson - Kingsville Celebration Centre
Joan Marie Carson (DeMars)
On a sunny day in January (just the way she liked it), our family rock – Joan Marie Carson – was reunited with her loving husband Harvey (2000) and loyal companion Max. Known for her fighting spirit, quick wit, fashion sense and sweet tooth, this self-proclaimed shopaholic, spent her career working as a devoted RN. Once leaving her home of Port Lambton to work in London at University Hospital, she eventually called Kingsville home and spent the later part of her career as Assistant Director of Nursing at Sun Parlour Home. This is where she would visit the “smoke hut” with her beloved colleagues and plan her next car purchase. After several decades of service, she would retire before beginning her next career of spoiling her grandkids.
She will be remembered by twin sons Justin (Tara), Matt (Danielle) and grandchildren Owen, Oliver, Brooklynn and Sadie. Fondly missed by siblings Bill DeMars (Marg), Lois Gray (Alan), John DeMars (Tina) and Deb Neff (Joe), and numerous nieces and nephews.
May our guardian angel now ride with Harv by her side in their little TR6 onto their next adventure.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Kendrick Funeral Home, Kingsville on Thursday, January 12, 2023, from 5 to 7 p.m. with a celebration of life being held Friday, January 13, 2023, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Cremation to follow. A private family interment will follow at a later date.
