Obituary for Jennifer Wye - Kingsville Celebration Centre
On Wednesday, March 18, 2020, Jennifer Wye, a loving wife and mother of three, passed away at the age of 75.
She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Joyce Thoday. Her husband Maurice (Dick) Wye, three children David (Merri), Alison (Terry) and Paul, and six grandchildren, Megan, Julia (Dylan), Shelby, Steven, Jayden and Jaelyn will miss her greatly, as well as many cousins across the world and many friends in the community.
Jennifer Wye was born in Liverpool, England and grew up in Fenstanton in Cambridgeshire. She shared the greatest love story with her husband Dick, who she married in March 31, 1962. They immigrated to Canada in 1968, eventually settling and raising their three children in Kingsville.
As a teacher’s aid at Kingsville Public School in the 70 and 80s, “Mrs. Wye” had an impact on many more children in the community than just her own. Jennifer will be remembered for her great capacity to care for others and her love of animals.
