Obituary for Jackie Grant
Jacqueline left our world for a better one on Monday December 9, 2019.
She leaves behind her BIG sister Dorothy Boyd (Robert), BIG brother Marvin Grant (Jacqueline) and her brother in law Bill Chalmers. Jacqueline is survived by 4 nieces and 9 nephews, many great nieces and nephews. She was the proud great-great aunt of Aria. Jackie will be remembered by her very good friend Rod McIntyre and sister in law Barbara Jarrold.
She was preceded in death by her parents Dorothy Gertrude “Gertie” (1971) and Wilfred Oscar “Jack” (1980), sister Charlene Chalmers(2004), brother Donald (2013). Predeceased by her partner of 28 years, William “Bill” Jarrold in 2004. Jackie will be loving remembered by the Jarrold Family.
Jackie retired from Peterson Spring-Kingsville Plant after many years of employment.
Visitation will be held at Kendrick Funeral Home on Wednesday December 11, 2019 from 7 till 9 p.m., and again Thursday December 12, 2019 from 12 till 2 p.m., followed by graveside internment service at Greenhill Cemetery.
The family of Jacqueline would like to express a warm THANK YOU to Erie Shores Healthcare staff on 2nd floor med and surgery wing for their kindness shown.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Heart and Stoke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or the Windsor-Essex County Humane Society.
