ALLAN, HOWARD BRUCE
Passed away peacefully at Matthews House Hospice, Alliston ON July 18, 2019 at the age of 87 years. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Allan (2008). Proud father of Jim (Fiona) of Beeton ON, David (Vickie Berno and previously the late Debra Martin) of Bolton ON, and the late Rick (1980). Beloved grandfather of Carol Ann. Predeceased by siblings Muriel, Eleanor (Earl), Edward (Audrey), Thora Margaret (Paul), and brother to George (the late Susan and previously Dorothy) and Robert (Gwen). Survived by many nieces, nephews and their families.
Howard was truly a life-long learner, embarking on a 35-year career in education, beginning with teaching in Essex County and then as a principal in the Halton Board of Education. His kind and pleasant demeanor extended beyond the classroom and school, bringing smiles and touching the lives of all those he encountered.
A heartfelt thank you to Matthews House Hospice, for their kindness and care of Howard.
A Celebration of Howard’s Life will take place at Kendrick Funeral home in Kingsville ON Friday, August 2nd at 11:00 am.
