Obituary

U Han Sein passed away peacefully on August 24, 2020 at 82 years of age with his family by his side after a brief and sudden illness at the Windsor Regional Hospital (Met Campus). Beloved “Darling” of 48 years to Mona Sein. Loving Aphay to Madi (Dee Dee) & Keith Gale and Lyndon Sein & Phally Pich-Sein. Much loved Pho Pho of Grace, Holly, Sophie, and Bennett. Survived by his brothers (U Kyaw Nyunt), U Tin Aye, and Dr. Hla Sein. Also loved by many cousins, nieces, and nephews of Myanmar (Burma).
Han worked at EverFresh, VitaPharm, and Accucaps in Windsor. Before immigrating to Canada, Han was a pharmaceutical chemist at Burma Pharmaceutical Industry and Development Center for Pharmaceutical Technology. In his younger days, he was a WHO fellow and studied abroad at many finest research institutes in London, Paris, Moscow, Zagreb, Jerusalem, Teheran, Melbourne, and Canberra. His passions included science, art, politics, gardening, cooking, and travel.
A private family funeral will take place followed by cremation.
