Obituary for Grant Edward Sampson
73 years passed away peacefully with his family by his side on June 7, 2019 at WRH-Met Campus. Beloved husband and best friend of Sharon (nee Arnold) for 49 years. Loving father of Trevor (Tasha), Darren (Bonnie), Leanne and Paula. Doting PaPa of Natalie, Nolan, Sylvan, Ila and Ava. Will be sadly missed by his sister Mary Ann Karl and brothers in law Paul Arnold (Lynn), John Arnold, Michael Arnold (Leanne) and Jamie Arnold (Paula) all of Kitchener. Predeceased by his parents Hubin and Susan (nee Binsfeld) Sampson and brother in law Jerome Karl.
Grant attended St. Jerome HS and received an Honours BA from the University of Waterloo. He was a long time account manager with CIBC.
Visitation will take place at Kendrick Funeral Home (91 Division St. S., Kingsville) on Monday June 10, 2019 from 4-8 p.m. with parish prayers at 7:45 p.m. A mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday June 11, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John de Brebeuf Catholic Church. Burial will take place at a later date in Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Canadian Lung Association.
