Gord passed away peacefully on February 16th at 85 years of age. Waiting for him with open arms is the love of his life, Judy (2012). He is the proud father of Jeannie (Tim), and Bill. Missing him deeply is the apple of his eye, his beloved granddaughter, Akira. Much loved brother of his twin sister, Betty (late Norm), with whom he created many wonderful memories while growing up together. Gord is missed by his closest family members and friends . Gord is also reunited with his beloved dog, Maxx.

Gord was a man of passion, kindness, determination, and strong faith. He was proud of his home on Heritage Road, which he built from a cottage and lived in since 1968. Anything to do with guns, Gord was the guy. His passion for firearms was so vast that he donated several to the Kingsville Legion Museum, was a lifetime member of the Kingsville Shooting Club, and was very proud of his collection. But his biggest pride and joy was his wife, Judy. The love they shared was profound, admirable, and something that will live on forever. Gord left a huge impact on many lives, and will always be remembered for the light he carried within him, and shared with so many. Though he will be missed, there is peace in knowing that he and Judy are now together once again.

We would like to thank the entire staff at Southgate Village for their kindness and compassion in caring for Gord.

Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will take place at Church of the Epiphany (106 Main St W, Kingsville ON, N9Y 1H3) on Friday, February 24th at 11am. Inurnment to follow at Church of Epiphany cemetery.

Donations in his honour can be made to directly to the Church of the Epiphany, 106 Main St W, Kingsville, ON N9Y 1H3.
