SANGER, Eva (nee Morgenthaler);
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Eva, on March 2, 2020 at Village on the Ridge, Ridgetown in her 101st year. Preceded in death by her husband, Bert Sanger (1986) and her brother, Frank Morgenthaler (1983). Eva was born in Backi-Jarak, Yugoslavia on August 25, 1919 to Frank and Eva Morgenthaler. She will be sadly missed by daughters Susan Wiles (Gary) of Caledon and Carol Shaw (Jim) of Ridgetown. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Lisa (Mike), Ken, Ian (Melissa), Julie, Adam and Megan (Shaun); great grandchildren, Denver, Bennett, Niya, Audrey, James, Heidi and Eva. Also remembered by her nieces and nephews.
Eva was a founding member of the Ethyl M. Blackwell Anglican Church Women of the Church of the Epiphany, Kingsville. She enjoyed bowling, cards, bingo, crafts and tending to the beautiful gardens around her house.
In following Eva’s wishes, a private family service and burial have taken place in Greenhill Cemetery, Kingsville.
