It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Dorothy Hughes (nee Shortt), on October 4, 2023,surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late Eric Hughes (2021). Loving mother of Norma (John) Manias, Lindsey (Karen) Hughes and Todd (Raquel) Hughes. Proud grandma of Cara, Tyler, Lacey, Tia, Heather, Shauna and 7 great-grandchildren.

In Dorothy's later years, she worked as a seamstress at the General Motors Trim Plant.

In following Dorothy's wishes, a private family celebration of her life will take place. Arrangements entrusted to Kendrick Funeral Home, Kingsville.
