77 years, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Erie Shores Health Care on Wednesday, September 1, 2021.
Beloved wife of the late Gus Roach (Feb. 5, 2009). Loving mother to Denise Desnoyers, late Robert (Beth) Desnoyers and Mary (late Tim) Siddall. Dear stepmother to Glenn (Dale) Roach, Gary Roach, Kim Charette and Greg Roach.
Dearest grandmother to 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Carol will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her parents Everett and Mary (Riley) Girardin, brothers Harry, Jim and Charles Girardin, sisters Winnifred Hillman and Peggy McCormick. Survived by sisters Lynn Girardin, Valerie Sellon and Charlene Bonyai.
Carol loved to crochet and knit, she created many adult hats for those in need, as well as baby hats for the hospital. Carol greatly enjoyed hanging out with her friends at Meadows Manor and playing Bingo. Special thanks to her neighbor Gloria for looking after her flowers during her illness and to the nursing staff on 2 North at Erie Shores Health Care for the excellent care given to Carol.
At Carol's request cremation has taken place. Donations made to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by her family.
