Meleg, Anna (nee Kentos);
September 16, 1932 - February 18, 2021
It is with much sorrow that we announce the passing of Anna at home. Predeceased by her husband John (2010), and her son John Jr. (2014). Survived by her sons Paul (Elizabeth), Dennis (Cherrin), and Thomas (Danuta), and her daughter-in-law Shirley all of Kingsville. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren, David, Danny (Marta), Cheriden (Dan), Matthew, Brittany. and great grand-children Chelsea, Brayden, Owen, Lukas, Mariah and Samantha. Anna was born in Hermanovce, Czechoslovakia and emigrated to New Jersey in 1948 and came to Canada when she married in 1951. She lived in Kingsville on the farm for the rest of her life. She is predeceased by her brothers Joseph, died in 2011, (Viola) and John, died in 2014, (Mary). Her youngest sister Mary resides in Pennsylvania. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews, family and friends from Canada, Slovakia and Serbia. She worked hard on the farm most of her life but kept herself busy doing what she loved – making pies, jams, and jellies for the farm store.
Visitation will take place at Kendrick Funeral Home, Kingsville on Sunday February 21, 2021 from 2-6 p.m. with prayers being said at 5:30 p.m. A funeral service in memory of Anna's life will take place on Monday, February 22, 2021 at 11 a.m. with burial following in Olinda-Graceland Cemetery.
Memorial donations would be appreciated to the Slovak Nativity Lutheran Church, Kingsville.
