Obituary for Allan Middlemist - Kingsville Celebration Centre
It is with deep sadness and loss that the family of Allan Middlemist announce his passing on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at Royal Oak LTC. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Susan Middlemist (nee Jackson)(2012). Dear father and father-in-law of Paul (Cheryl) Middlemist, Barbara (John) Parent and John Middlemist. Allan will be missed by his loving grandchildren, Carrie Middlemist(Allan), Hayley Samborski (Kurt), Gavin Middlemist(Andrea), David Parent (Jen) and Emily Parent; great grandchildren Aro Middlemist and Harley Parent. He also leaves behind extended family and his golf buddies.
After emigrating with the family from England he was hired by F. Joseph Lamb Canada as a toolmaker and retired as Service Manager. He had many interests in life; woodworking, soap stone carving, and was a long-time member of the Royal Scottish Country Dancing Society, Windsor Branch and past member of the Kingsville Golf & Country Club.
A memorial visitation will take place at Kendrick Funeral Home, Kingsville on Wednesday, May 26th, 2021 from 3:00 till 7:00p.m. Please RSVP at www.Kendrickfuneralhome.com to reserve your appointment time for visitation as numbers are limited. Masks are mandatory. A private family graveside service will be held at Greenhill Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Chartwell Royal Oak, Kingsville (Copper Beach) for their tireless compassion and patience with their care for dad. Special thank you to table mate Fred Baldwin for being his companion while in the home.
