Obituary for Aldean Marie Boyes-Chatham Celebration Centre

Our caring Mother is now in the presence of God and his Son, Jesus Christ. Mom passed peacefully at 90 years of age, surrounded by her loving family on March 6, 2020. Aldean was preceded in passing by her husband of 52 years, Otto (Jack); parents Cornelius and Florence (Marie) Overdulve; brother Ernie; daughter Suson Brundritt; son-in-law Garvin Brundritt; son-in-law Harry Deryck; grandson Jason Brundritt. Her legacy will live on in her cherished children: Gordon and wife Joan, Linda and husband Bas Abbink, Sharron Deryck, Terry and husband Mark Munro. She was a loving and proud grandmother of 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. Aldean is survived by brothers Fred Overdulve and wife Theresa, John Overdulve and wife Jane, and fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. Her kind and generous spirit as well as her beautiful smile and warm bear hugs will be missed by the many people whose lives she touched.
At Aldean’s request, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Praise Fellowship Church, 165 Park Avenue East in Chatham, Ontario on Thursday March 12, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. A Celebration of Aldean’s Life will follow.
Donations to the Salvation Army, Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
