Passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 6, 2019, in his 95th year, at the Sun Parlour Home for Senior Citizens. John was loved by all who knew him. Preceded in death by his beloved wife of 53 years, Connie (2009). Loving father to Bob and his wife Debby, Ron and his wife Louise, late Wayne, late Leon, Judy Hopkings and her husband John Fitzsimons, and Gale Abbott and her husband Wayne. Forever cherished in the hearts of his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Theresa Gale. John was very proud of his service time spent in the Canadian Navy and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Kingsville Branch #188. The family wishes to thank each and everyone at the Sun Parlour Home for their care and kindness. Arrangements entrusted to Kendrick Funeral Home (Kingsville) where a private family burial will take place at a later date.
