Theodore Louis (Ted) Pageau
1930-2020
Son of Louis and Stella (nee Genest) Pageau. Predeceased by his wife Denise Margaret Pageau (nee Atkins) on February 11, 2016, his love and best friend in 37 years of marriage. Stepfather to Steven Atkins and the late Catherine Roach (nee Atkins) on January 29, 2005. Survived by Sr. Claire Marie Pageau CSJ, John Pageau. Lorraine Chauvin, Leo Pageau and many wonderful nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sisters, Agnes Zangari, Rosalie Jolicoeur and Madeline Pageau.
Ted was a former Elementary and Special Resource teacher with the Windsor Separate School Board. He has served several years as a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 8233 Kingsville and the Fr. Louis Boue Assembly 2355 Amherstburg. He was also an active member of the Sunparlour Chorus (Windsor) the first International Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society. Also, Ted sang in the choirs of St. Alphonsus and Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Windsor and St. John de Brebeuf and Companions Parish in Kingsville.
Visitation will take place at Kendrick Funeral Home, 91 Division St. S., Kingsville on Wednesday August 12, 2020 from 3 until 7:30 p.m. **Only those that have reserved a spot for visitation will be allowed to attend. Please RSVP below. A Celebration of Ted’s life will take place at a later date when we can all gather together.
Tributes may be given to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul of St. John de Brebeuf and Companions Parish, Kingsville; to Erie Shores Hospice or the charity of your choice.
