Obituary for Trudy Dresse
84 years, went to sleep in the arms of her beloved Lord and Saviour on May 16, 2019 at Erie Shores Hospice surrounded by her loving family. Survived by her husband and best friend Fritz. Loving mother of Christine Holt (Kim), Yolanda Asschert & Monica Dresse-Mirao. Cherished grandmother to Derek Holt (Ashley), Amber Holt (Mike), Hunter Asschert and Wilson Dresse Mirao. Adored sister of Berthold (Lore), late Gunter (Renate) and Helmut (Emily). Special aunt to her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister in law Friedl Schwinghammer.
Her gentle, compassionate and loving nature touched so many lives as she showed kindness after kindness to all she met. Our hearts are heavy with missing her so, but we have a hope, that one day we will see our dear Momma’s face once more and celebrate a family reunion like none other before!
A celebration of Trudy’s life will take place at Kendrick Funeral Home, 91 Division Street S., Kingsville at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday May 22, 2019 with a memorial reception immediately following. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Erie Shores Hospice or the Leamington Seventh Day Adventist Community Church.
